Three ways to make a discovery

Spencer Metals’ portfolio spans three complementary copper play types. We describe them here in outline; detailed technical information is available to qualified parties on request.

Iron-oxide-copper-gold (IOCG)

The province is the world’s premier IOCG belt, home to Olympic Dam and a series of major copper-gold deposits. Spencer Metals has defined several IOCG targets within its ground, supported by geophysical signatures characteristic of this deposit style. These targets are a primary focus for early exploration.

Sediment-hosted copper

A second, distinct play targets sediment-hosted copper along a favourable geological boundary — a setting geologically comparable to some of the world’s largest copper systems. This is an emerging, high-potential theme within the portfolio, supported by independent technical work.

Spencer Metals also holds a free-carried interest in a defined copper-gold oxide resource within the province, operated in partnership with an ASX-listed company. This provides the portfolio with a foundation of tangible, established value alongside its exploration upside.

DISCIPLINED APPROACH

Targets first, then de-risk

Modern geophysics and independent technical review guide where we drill. By proving concepts on the highest-priority targets before broad expenditure, we manage risk while preserving the upside across the
wider portfolio.
